Cause & Effect

Cause & Effect

In the spiritual world like begets like or the same causes the same to happen.  Everything from its kind.  If you want to be loved, then start showing love.  If you send out selfish love, then that is what you will receive.  This is where you have to start questioning everything you are thinking.  Are my thoughts selfish or selfless?  Are you thinking only of yourself or are you putting others first?

You must realize that where you’re at in this world is where you want to be, if your thoughts are of God then your mind is with God.  So, consider where you are in life and decide if this is where you want to be.  The Prodigal Son determined he would rather be a servant in his father’s house than a slave at the Pigpen.

It may be time for you to physically get away from the negativity of others and you do this by first disassociating yourself with them mentally.  If all your friends are only reminding you of the sad condition you are in, then find some new friends.  Once you stop materially thinking like others and start thinking spiritually then these negative thinkers will go away, and the positive things will come.  Jesus said to first seek the Kingdom of God and then all things will be added to you in their appropriated time (Matthew 6:33).

If something you own, where you work, where you live, or who you associate with is keeping your mind tied to the Pigpen then cut it loose (Mark 9:47).  Jesus said that if your eye is causing you to sin then pluck it out.  He goes on to say that it is better to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to enter hell with two.  Jesus is not saying that we should literally pluck out our eye, because remember the eye is flesh and flesh and blood will not enter the kingdom.  What he is saying is we need to stop seeing things as material and start seeing everything as spiritual.  To do this we may have to give up some things or start looking at things differently if you want to be a part of the kingdom of God.

It is better for you to have no friends and find the Truth than to have a multitude of so-called friends that keep sucking the life out of you.  Misery loves company and the people who’ve you been associating yourself with doesn’t want your life to change because that would mean that they too may need to change.  Some of your acquaintances may be uplifting but most want be.  Some will encourage and others will just want to throw you a pity party.  Choose your friends wisely for not all are truly your friends.  Remember if they are with you at the Pigpen or on their way there, they are selfish and the reason they want you around is for their own selfish needs.  They may be codependent on you.

The codependent always needs someone to tell their gossip and lies to.  It is always about them.  Misery is always looking for sympathy to keep her company.  Getting sympathy from others keeps them alive and gives them power.  But negative energy is not regenerative so to obtain this negative power or force they have to acquire it through other means and that other means is being supplied through you and others.  They project their negativity on you and when you agree with them it recharges their negative energy and spreads this negative energy through you.

This is why negative gossip is so dangerous.  Negative energy is the destructive force in the universe and positive energy is the creative force.  So don’t be fooled by this sort of behavior and don’t think that they care for you.  On the road to the Pigpen we only care for our self.    Don’t give up your soul to anyone or anything.

What good is it for a man to gain the whole world yet forfeit his soul?  Mark 8:36
