Male & Female
God in Genesis chapter one creates the Man-idea, both male and female (Matthew 19:4-6). Many see this as God creating the male and the female separate at this time but as the scriptures tells us man came from God and then woman came from man (1 Corinthians 11:11-12). Women first had to be one with man before they could be separated.
Before the fall there was no separation or need thereof. Afterwards, however, the need for separation arose to help man see his consciousness of duality. As Spirit-man enters a state of dualism he begins to divide his mind in to two forms of thought – positive and negative. Positive is expressing or implying affirmation, agreement, or permission. Negative is expressing or implying denial, negation, disagreement, or refusal. Spirit-man’s mind and thoughts are now divided into thoughts of affirmation and denial. It is up to man to affirm the truths of God and deny everything else.
In the mind of man, Adam represents positive thoughts and Eve, the woman, represents man’s negative thoughts but all coming from the same source – Adam. Adam-thoughts are logic and affirmation. Eve-thoughts are feeling, emotion and denial. It is through the affections of Eve (feelings and emotions), or the feminine within us, that we join in and partake of thoughts that are good and evil. Remember it was Eve who first joined with the serpent consciousness at the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The negative expresses the serpent consciousness or that of self-will.
Genesis 3:6, says that when Eve saw that the fruit (expressed thoughts of self-will) was good for food (good for self-thought or selfishness) and pleasing to the eye (good for sensuality) she took some and ate it or joined-in consciously to what the serpent was telling her. Eve also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it or joined sensually in positive and negative consciousness. This is why as humans we see sex or personal desire as a good thing that is pleasing and sensual. This action led to Adam and Eve’s separation from Paradise.
It is through Eve-thoughts (negative) that man puts feeling into logic reasoning. Feeling is part of the “living” thus Eve is said to be the mother of the living. Eve or feeling gives birth to our sensual thoughts and ideas. It connects the unseen with the seen, the super-conscious with the conscious mind. It is feeling and emotion that helps man (Eve was Adams “help-meet”) make sense of his projections. It is through Eve-thoughts that man perceives the world as being good or evil.
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God – having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them. (2Tim 3:1-5)
Having a form of godliness but denying its power is affirmation and denial in the negative sense affirming that we are children of God, made in His image but denying that our strength comes from God. We think all of our power comes from self; this is the ego speaking. Our expressions of good and bad thoughts lead to all sorts of abominations (2Timothy 3:1-5). God cannot allow this consciousness to continue to exist. Self-will leads to love of self and the ego and not to the love God.
Eve represents love or feeling that exists in individual consciousness. Love is Spirit that quickens or makes alive. Through Eve (feeling) man’s thoughts are expressed or manifested so that man can view his thoughts to see if they are good or evil. Eve or the woman is called a “help-meet”. Eve or the negative is to help man meet himself.
It is the renewing of the mind that is important. Without expression man’s thoughts would not be seen and would exist only in the unseen or exist as thought-forms. This is probably what led to the creation of Adam and mankind.
Spirit-man had its own ideas that were not in keeping with God’s principles. If these ideas were not expressed and eliminated from mind, then they would continue to exist in the unseen forever. So, Spirit-man had to be removed from spirit – heaven and placed in the world of expression – earth, so that these false-thoughts could be expressed, identified as untrue, and then eliminated from mind. This is the true process of affirmation and denial. Affirm the truth and deny any false ideas to enter the mind.
For thoughts and ideas in the mind of man to be real they need to be expressed and experienced but mostly they need to be felt, heard, touched, tasted and seen. For this to happen Spirit-man would need a mind to analyze this data and a device that could collect this data and record this information. Not unlike the way we process information today. We have instruments that collect data, and we have computers to analyze the information. Man, in a sense is a supercomputer.
The physical instrument that collects data is what is known as the human body. The human body is just a communication device connected to a central computer – the brain. This central computer is called the “conscious mind.” The body is not intelligent matter. It cannot reason; it does not have ideas, nor does it think on its own. The body is the input and output source of the conscious mind. This conscious mind can also be called “sense-consciousness.” Sensuality or the five senses are part of this consciousness. Sensuality is the enjoyment, expression, or pursuit of physical, especially sexual, pleasure. Sensuality is Step four of the Prodigal Steps. Sensuality comes after Step Three, Separation. Before the separation there was no need for a physical body. Remember Adam and Eve were clothed in skins after they ate the forbidden fruit (Genesis 3:21). The Bible records that Adam and Eve, after separating themselves from God, began having sexual relations thus producing offspring.
Are you starting to see the pattern now? Spirit-man’s self-will has led him to be selfish which has led him to be separated from his source of life and now seeks physical pleasure (sensuality) more than spiritual understanding (spiritual destruction).
Spirit-man (son of God) as Adam (son of man) has now given up his spiritual powers for sexual energy which is not life sustaining. This is what led to death and the need to reproduce. Man, now must replace those who are dead with newborns or else man will eventually become extinct. If man becomes extinct, then his false-thoughts cannot be projected and eradicated. This is why life is so important and probably why the powers of good are fighting against the power of evil.
Evil can only be removed through physical consciousness. Ponder that for a moment.
