Earth (the visible universe)

Earth (the visible universe)

The second level of reality is the “Earth” or the plane of thought-forms or the way and manner of expression.  God does not create the visible universe directly; God always creates in the heavenly plane or in the spiritual plane (invisible universe) of pure ideas therefore, all of God’s creations are spiritual.  It is only in the earth plane that God’s creations are both spiritual and material.  Heaven is the plane of real ideas, and the earth plane is the manifestation of these ideas.  The material plane is the result of our spiritual thinking and with what spiritual idea we entertain so are the results (everything of its kind).  This is the law of sowing and reaping or reaping materially that which we have sown spiritually be it good or bad.

At the beginning of chapter one of Genesis, God says, “Let there be light.”  Light in this definition means “intelligence” or the ability to acquire and apply knowledge and skills.  Light means the ability to perceive.  To perceive is to become aware or conscious of something.  Come to realize or understand – “come to light”.

Chapter one of Genesis opens with, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”  Heaven and earth in this passage are not the physical heaven and earth as previously explained, this will come later

Heaven and earth are the two forms of spiritual consciousness; heaven being the “invisible universe” (unseen spirit) and the earth as the “visible universe” (seen or expressed spirit).  If God, Mind and Spirit are all one then you can interchange this passage and say, “In the beginning God created, in mind, the invisible and the visible.”

Chapter one of Genesis goes on to say that in the creation of the idea of the Like-mind, the expressed mind (earth) was at some point formless and void of knowledge and intelligence.  The Like-mind was at first empty and full of darkness (ignorance).  But lying much deeper the heavenly consciousness (unseen), the Spirit of God (Holy Spirit), was hovering and ready to take action to bring into expression the manifested Christ or Perfect-Son idea.

When God said, “let there be light,” it was the unlocking of the Like-mind to start developing intellectually.  It was the beginning of the realization of the Christ or perfect-Son idea.  The Like-mind was now free to have ideas and think on its own and with Christ as its model of perfection the Like-mind could begin its existence like-minded and at-one with the Divine Mind.  This was the condition of the Like-mind in the beginning as represented by Adam in the Garden or in Paradise.  The Like-mind was to express the unseen thus increasing the Spirit and Truth of God in the manifested world.
