Judgment Day
Another Spiritual Law is, “with what measure you meet your brother that same measure will be met by you” (Matt 7:2). In other words, how you treat someone is how you will eventually be treated. Remember, what you dish out was prepared in your kitchen. If you are afraid to eat your own cooking, then don’t be serving it to others.
The sad reality is that the way you are mistreating someone is the way you are mistreating yourself. If you show someone anger the anger is already inside of you or you would not have been able to show it. If you judge someone because of their behavior you would have to have that same behavior inside of you or else, you would not have recognized it in someone else. The things that most irritate you are usually your most irritating traits.
Noticing the bad behavior in others is a way of making us realize we too behave that way. So, to judge someone else for their actions is to only judge yourself for that same action.
Jesus tells us that if we are full of good then we see only the good (Matt 6:22-23). But if we are full of bad then that is only what we see. What we see outwardly is only a reflection of what we are inwardly, light or darkness. What we see in the world is in reality only a projection of our self.
When we pass through the same condition that we are putting others through we will understand how they feel or how we have made them to feel. Making a joke about someone doesn’t seem hurtful until you are the butt of someone else’s joke. If you don’t like being made fun of or gossiped about, I’m sure someone else doesn’t like you making fun of or gossiping about them.
Everything from you has to return to you because you are the source from which it came. What returns to you gives you the chance to experience what you are putting others through. This experience will happen on your return trip home from the Pigpen so be prepared to meet your self and answer for every idle or unfounded word that you have spoken.
But I tell you that men will have to give account on the Day of Judgment for every careless word they have spoken. Matthew 12:36
Just as the kingdom of Heaven is here and now, judgment is here and now. God is not a procrastinator putting off until tomorrow what He can do today. Don’t think that you are going to slide by and get off easy on the things that you have said and done to your neighbor. The world in which we live is the world of cause and effect, of sowing and reaping, it is here on earth that you will judge and be judged. This is a hard reality to some, especially the Christian community. God may forgive you for what you’ve done but it doesn’t mean you will not have to pay for your actions. With what measure you meet your brother that same measure will be met by you. This is a law. You may not meet it in this life, but I assure you that you will meet it in the next. So, wake up. Judgment Day is today.
This world is the world of the law of cause and effect, and these laws apply spiritually and mentally as well as physically. With what measure you meet your mind the same measure the body will throw back.
Are you abusing your body with alcohol, drugs or sexual immorality? Are you poisoning your mind with fear, hate, worry or doubt? Eventually these harmful substances will accumulate in your mind and body, and they will bring dis-ease, illness and possibly death. If you continue to manufacture toxic thoughts in your mind you will continue to produce toxic relationships and harmful and unpleasant situations in your life.
If you worry, then life will give you plenty of reasons to worry. This is because the worry that is in your mind is projected or extended outward so you can meet it. Are you getting the picture? Most people believe what they see is making them worry but in fact the worry has to exist and be projected outward before their senses can perceive it. This is like the chicken and the egg – which comes first? The chicken has to first be birthed before you can recognize the egg as a chicken egg. It is within the egg that the chicken exists, and it is within the mind that worry is conceived. It is first in the mind that ideas are devised before they can be expressed and manifested in the world. This is the law of mind action.
In reality the world is the place of man’s false projections and what we see and sense is deception and illusion. If you believe what you see, smell, taste, touch and hear then you are being deceived because what you perceive as real is only the expression or manifestation of thought-errors. Remember what we project we have to meet and not only what we ourselves project but also the projections of others.
This is why we are all connected and why the wrongs expressed by others can also have an effect on us. It is hard enough meeting our self but to also have to meet the self of others is sometimes too much to bear. But this doesn’t seem to stop others from nosing in on other people’s lives. We can’t control our own life but somehow, we believe we can control someone else’s life.
Depending on what spirit that you entertain, be it good or bad, will become constructive or destructive in your life. The choice is yours. You may not understand this yet, but the Creative Forces will also bring life. They can heal you if you will just be patience and keep the faith.
